I just thought this was a sweet picture! Look at all those yummy treats Mads made for Santa. I hope everyone had an incredible Christmas..we had snow and loads of fun opening gifts this morning and then I made Turkey for dinner..then a nappy of course! We had a super fantastic day...hope you did too!!

A whole new year! I am so excited to be working on a little collection based on Spring! Vibrant colors..flowers..birds..sun! I do live in the Northwest and it is dark and dreary and pending snow..brrr....I have to say Southern California is sounding lovely right about now! It is lovely here too..crisp and clear...I really shouldn't complain!

Spring Fling

I know Christmas is just a few days away..and oh I am so behind in my present wrapping and dinner planning but that is another story. I have been working on the sweetest Spring Fling dresses and sets! My plan is to debut them on the website on Jan 15th, 2008....keep checking back for sneak peeks!!

Off to bed..I have loads of holiday stuff to do tomorrow.

Custom Clothing..am I crazy??

I am offering custom clothing on my website..my style of course..or my staples as I should say. I know these designs work for kiddo's because I have made a million pair of pants..a hundred or two or maybe even 600 appliqued tee's and not as many skirts..but the 2 skirts I am offering have done quite well and are my faves. I seriously just hope I don't get someone that asks me for some major detailed applique because I just can't do it..well not that I can't..I have but I don't want too! I enjoy the simple things and I prefer to make the simple things..so I would have to just say can't do it and that is even harder..to say nope. Oh the dilema..

I hope it is easy to use and figure out..and I really hope everyone likes my fabric choices..I tend to buy fabrics that aren't saturating the market and fabrics that I look at and say I want I want! Which is way to much becase the fabric out there is Amazing! I want way to much..

So right now I only have 3 swatches on but by the New Year..my goal is 15. It takes a while to get stuff on the site and I have a huge ebay SALE going on and it is Christmas! Have to shop, decorate, make a Gingerbread house, hopefully paint and finish my drywall before the big day..now that would be the best Christmas present ever..hint hint..J!

I am clammering..I hope people want custom clothes! That's all...

Calms Forte

I love the stuff! I never used to get so worked up about things but now my eye has a funny tick to it when I get nervous and my tummy goes into knots and I just can't seem to calm myself until I found calms forte. Seriously if you are a nervous nelly like me go to your local grocer and buy it! It is a miracle worker!

Why all the stress..well the writer's strike for one. I as a business have never paid any bills that didn't have to do with the business..now without knowing what the future brings and not having a big ole savings to make me feel calm I have to pay the bills and that is a huge..for me. Can I do it..damn right I can! I am looking forward to the challenge although maybe just a tad stressed out too..what can I say...wouldn't you stress??

All will be good! I have amazing customers..and hopefully will have more this coming year. I have new collections in the works including a Vintage Collection that I have been wanting to do for years and am finally starting on it..and a totally girlie girl dress collection. Super cute...

I just turned 36 years old..my hubby turned the big 40 the day before me..the 7th and 8th of this fine month..and Christmas is just around the corner! I adore Christmas...Life isn't bad at all..just a little stressful..adventures and memories! With a little help from Calms Forte!

Life Changes..

Life changes..they happen so quickly! We had an amazing time in Hawaii..I have loads of pictures on ebay...selling my goods as well as sharing. I seriously want that to be a Thanksgiving tradition. Fly to Hawaii..I wish!

I am also having my 2nd annual year end clearance on Ebay! I have been waiting for this month just so I can play with what I have instead of making something new or doing a custom..I love to downsize..especially fabric..makes me play!! I also have my holiday sets available..listing the last one's this week so you have them in time!!

My big life change..I now go to bed at around 11ish and no more naps! when I usually wouldn't hit the pillow until 2ish before and take a nappy in the afternoon. Not a bad life change..I have been enjoying the mornings..crisp and chilly here..but still gorgeous!
