Squirrel..I am so sorry!

I commited murder today..I killed a squirrel with my car. I am so so sorry..seriously the guilt I am feeling is horrible. I have been totally depressed about it all afternoon. We were driving down one of our country roads and I saw it coming..it had a little nut it it's small little hands and it started running..I closed my eye's and said a little prayer and then thump..that dreaded thump. Miss Mads turned around and said what was that..I blurted out squirrel and the tears started flowing. Poor poor little squirrel. I feel absolutely guilty and hope that little squirrel didn't have more little squirrel's at home.

1. I used to be a go go dancer at a club in Riverside California..I was 18 and much cuter! We wore these little gold lame hot pants and black tank tops..it was a blast! I loved that place.

2. When I was 13 years old my parents sent me to Europe to spend the summer with relatives..I took off for a weekend from Austria and took the train to Paris by myself..I wandered around eating bread and drinking coffee and as I was walking past a market this guy Gavin asked if he could be my guide so I spent the next 2 days hanging out with him taking produce to all the farmer's markets..that was a super fun journey. I will NOT send my kid anywhere at 13 by herself..my parents were loco!

3. My best friend died last year..she was an alcoholic. The last time I spent anytime with her was when I was pregnant and I could barely stand being around her because she smelled so bad. I saw her last year for 3 days when her mom contacted me and I flew down to say goodbye..it was the most surreal experience..she was at her grandma's (a place that we used to be kids and have huge dreams) and here she was dying. I feel like she freed herself from a life that was never easy for her. I talk to her more now than I have in years.

4. I have a tattoo on my back..and used to have a mohawk that I would dye all sorts of pretty colors..what was I thinking!

5. I am remodeling my house..by myself. This month I am drywalling my living room. I buy books and read how to's and then do it. So far I haven't destroyed too much..well my hubby thinks I have but too bad!

6. I read magazines from the back to the front. Don't have a clue why..just do.

7. I LOVE my life...I love living on an island surrounded by great big tree's and every night I walk outside to check on the stars. I LOVE LOVE LOVE my husband..I think he is smart, funny and down right HOT. I also love the fact that he works in LA because everytime he comes home we are like newlyweds...and that is fun! I LOVE my kiddo..she is hilarious and she makes me crack up. I also LOVE to work..I am a total workaholic and I am perfectly okay with that. I don't miss the big city..you couldn't drag me away from my island!

Santa Baby!!

I am a little late posting this...to tell you the truth..I am a little late on everything lately! We are working hard to get all the orders out the door. I am hoping by Friday to be caught up with everything..Monday at the latest! Oh gosh..I have another new model..how lucky am I. Just a few months ago I was totally stressed over the fact that I needed to find some new models and photographers..and now I am one lucky person working with so many amazing women and of course there gorgeous little one's! I love it!!

I also have loads listed so be sure to hit the see other items feature! My manufacturer promised me a box of new Fall clothes this week..it has taken forever and a day..I am so darn impatient but sheesh Fall is here!! I need to clear a few things off the racks so hoping to list more tomorrow and add a few new items to my sale page on BGR..that is a ton to do so who knows what I will actually get done! Just have to wait and see!!

The Sky Tonight...and a Promise

Just a gorgeous picture of the sky from my doorway this evening after a very windy and rainy day..we didn't loose power! Whahoo..

And a promise..Miss Mads has been torture at bedtime..up and downt the stairs 35 times..a boo boo here a boo boo there..she needs water..she needs to tell me something about nothing so I promised her a slice of steamy warm homemade cinnamon, oatmeal raisin bread at 10.20 if she stays in bed..well she stayed in bed and then after she gobbled down her warm bread..she was out..maybe that is the trick. Who knows!
