I am finally getting to share some of my favorite pictures from my cousin Madeline's wedding!! Kidsfaire has taken over my life and I decided tonight that if I am not somewhat ready for it..well too bad. I have been working around the clock for a month now so I wanted to do something personal..

Madeline & Pauls wedding was just the best fun ever..set in a stunning Botanical garden just above UC Berkeley..the setting was amongst a circle of tree's and was filled with family and friends..it was just beautiful and I was honoured to be a guest..I just had this feeling of utmost respect and love..it has been many years since I had seen many of my cousin's..Madeline is number 3 of Uncle Werner's girls..there are 6 of those crazy Streicek cousin's..but it was as if I has just seen them a few weeks ago...total comfort..have to love that! Then onto a little picnic area for the reception..here are some highlights..

A new car..and a pretty pic!

I have a moment! Seriously..life has been madness. I am totally not ready for Kidsfaire but still have some time..gotta paint my shelves...get some pictures..package some product..tag..fold..iron..and pack up the trailer to drive 16 hours south...I am giddy like a school girl to do Kidsfaire..but it is daunting because it is brand new to me and I just hope all goes smoothly. We did buy a new (used) Range Rover today..oh my..luxury for me after my VW Passat and let me say we got a STEAL! I am still in amazement at the price (under 10g)..I know you say..gas prices are crazy so why buy an SUV..well every winter I get stuck and I wanted to be unstuck! And man on man it was the right time to buy!! We also have a trailer to haul so needed a car for that...and now we can camp and I can sleep in the Rover and avoid any bears..yep bears freak me out!

I will share another school project..our assignment was to play with composition and this one was framing..I just love this pic of Mads..she looks like she knows something.

retrospective..now!

Okay..so half of the retrospective collection is available..and holy bananas..I love it! It is a ton of holidays sets for Halloween and Christmas...because..well..because I am usually super late with these sets! The second launch for retrospective will be after kidsfaire! We have 8 work days to complete the product lines for kidfaire..and honsedtly..BANANAS! I will let you know how it foes..but don't be surprised if I am especially quiet lately..the biz is busy! We are working 24/7....oh the joy! Seriously..I love it!

As you all know..we were in Berkeley, CA for my cousin Madeline's wedding..I have to say..first it was so Berkeley! Second...it was a flipping blast! We had such an amazing time..I loved hanging with all my cousin's..Janette, Shelly, Charlotte, Josie, Heidi...and also Aunt Pat..Uncle Werner..John..my bro..Werner and T..and the kiddo's..and all of Paul's family..whom I of course never met before but felt an instant comfort with all of them..what an incredible gathering of family..thanks Maddy! My maddy..says peace..Maddy..Paul and you are super fab..keep doing what you do girlie..more pic's from us to follow..Justin is working on them..well..right now!

Crazy daisy!!

Getting back to work after a crazy weekend in San Fran at my cousin Madeline's wedding! I will have pic's of the weekend soon for all the fam members! We had a blast!! We ended up getting in at 3am this morning..spent the rest of the night in Seattle at my mama's and then off to Whidbey to pick up the pooches this morning..then sleep sleep sleep! Justin had to work at 6am this morning and finally made home tonight at 9..so needless to say he is out! It was crazy...but I wanted to share a few pic's..the Retrospective launch is still on for the 15th..just a peek here!

Mads is Living in her knit pants..so I thought why not sell them as basic's! Tshirts should be coming VERY soon..manufacturing takes forever and a day..it seems! These will be under The Knits on the site..tomorrow..I have 3 other colors as well but haven't shot them yet so they will be on there soon..hopefully tomorrow!

Final!!!...and Bloom!

My final project for school is finito!

And I have a set of pic's for my new Bloom Dress..available on the site August 15th and at Kidsfaire!

What a relief..here are just a few photo's from my first ever RAW shoot..and doing it all myself..whahoo! I think they look great! I took this class because I wanted to learn about photography and be able to actually take a pic..not in Auto..and have it look good...I have learned and am so excited to learn more. My teacher Jay Watson was fabulous and I am totally thrilled with the outcome of my online school experience..it wasn't easy..that is for sure and I am glad it is over because I have to get ready for Kidsfaire..full force but I am so glad I stuck with it...

It is done! Yeah!!..well almost..final exam..phewey!

We are headed to San Fransisco next weekend for my cousin Maddy's wedding. I can not wait to go hang out with everyone! They are a fun bunch that is for sure!! I will be gone from the 8th to the 11th so back to work on Wednesday..

Hope everyone is doing amazing..now I can document Kidsfaire stuff..I will have 5 minutes to breathe!

Retrospective

So my hubby came up with the name for the Fall Collection and I just love it..it is perfect! I am taking designs I have done over the last 10 years and re-working them just a bit..they look totally like Baby Go Retro with an update. My goal is to have at least 20 done for the August 15th launch and then add a few at the end of the month..this isn't the perfect way to go about it but you can call my crazy at this moment in time so I don't want to just slam things out..ya know?

I will be gone for a few days..the 8th - 11th of August..Road Trip to San Fran. for my cousin, Maddy's, wedding..should be crazy fun!

I am planning on having all orders out the door by then but if not will let you know if there is a delay..I am almost caught up! I am never totally caught up but I am almost..so that is good eh?

Everything else is mahhvelous..Mads is home, Justin is home, the sun is shining today..what more can a girl want.
